As per the implementation of State sand policy 2019 of the AP, the government will ensure the doorstep delivery of all the sand orders the general as well the bulk consumers. Update: From 9th March 2020 onwards, Government has made Aadhaar OTP Validation (People with 18 Years or Above Age) mandatory for booking sand. Also, the age of sand users should be 18 years or above. So, users need to update their profile as soon as possible. Check all the details below.
AP Sand Booking
AP government monitor all the sand sale activities in the state. This portal is basically used by the general consumers and bulk consumers. A general consumer is one who intends to purchase AP sand for his personal or domestic use like in construction of a house, maintenance or repairs etc. The maximum quantity of sand provided to a general consumer is 500 metric tonnes in an interval of 12 months. Here it is ensured that the required sand quantity is certified by the relevant authority.
On the other all the consumers who are not “General consumers” are considered as “Bulk Consumer”. It basically includes private contractors, government departments, real estate developers and similar large customers. For bulk consumers there is no limit for buying maximum quantity provided they have to get their sand quantity certified by the concerned authorities.

APDMC Sand Transporter Application
If you are transporter and wish to use your vehicle for sand delivery you need to register with the online portal. Check the application process given below in simple steps-
- Download the Sand Transporter mobile Application from the AP Sand portal on your mobile.
- On the login page, click on “Register” button.
- Fill all the details and click on “Register” button.
- After registration login into the app and verify using mobile number.
- Dashboard will appear.
- Request acceptance toggle button (On & Off)
- Click on YES button to accept the sand delivery request
- Add vehicle for sand delivery and fill all the details.
AP Sand Registration
To book sand online, consumers are required to register themselves on the official portal. For registration on AP Sand portal, general consumers and Bulk consumer have to register through separate links available on the official portal.
The step-by-step procedure of registration for both the types of consumers is shared as under-
General Consumer Registration
- Visit AP Sand portal
Applicants have to start by visiting the official website of AP Sand i.e. https://sand.ap.gov.in/.
- Click on Registration link
On the homepage, click on the “Registration” link mentioned on a pop-up box.
- Mobile Verification
Now, you have to verify your mobile no. Enter the mobile no. in the space provided and also enter the OTP and click on “Submit” button.
- Aadhaar Verification
Now, enter the Aadhaar and click on “Submit” button.
- Residential Address
You have to fill your details such as name, address details, mail id etc. and proceed further by clicking on “NEXT” tab.
- Confirm Registration
A user Id i.e. registration Id will appear on screen. Click on declaration and click on “Register” button.
- Order Sand
After registration you can proceed to order sand by clicking on the relevant option.
Bulk Consumer Registration
- On the official website click on Registration Menu and select “Bulk Consumer registration” option from the dropdown list.
- Enter Mobile No. and verify it.
- Fill GST No. and proceed further.
- Provide consumer detail and address.
- Lastly, confirm the registration and save the registration Id.
Andhra Pradesh Sand Order Booking
Just like the registration process, sand order booking procedure is also different for general and bulk consumer.

General Consumer Sand Booking
Follow the given procedure and get your sand order placed-
- Proceed to order sand
After registration, click on “Proceed to order sand” button as shown in the pic shared in the general consumer registration section.
- Sand Order
Now, select the type of work and fill all the required details.
- Delivery Address
Fill the name, and address details. In case address is same as address filled in the registration form then click on relevant option as shown in the image.
- Make Payment
Fill stockyard details and net payment amount will appear on the basis of quantity filled. Now, Click on “Order Now” tab.
- Confirm Order
Click on “Continue Payment” tab and confirm order.
- Payment Mode
Now, you have to click on “Online Payment” option.
- Payment Gateway
You can select payment gateway among the two available options.
- Make Payment
Fill all the payment details and click on “Pay Now” link. Finally, sand order will be placed.

SSMMS AP Bulk Consumer Sand Booking
Follow the simple instructions shared as under-
- Visit the official website and click on “Booking” menu and select Online Sand Booking option.
- Login with the mobile No.
- Bulk Consumer Dashboard will appear.
- Now, click on “New Order” tab.
- Now, fill the details mentioned in the list and hit the submit button.
- After submitting details, select the location.
- After placing order, payment option will appear.
- For previously submitted bulk orders, click on “New Request” option given on the Sand order page.
- Fill the details and click on “Request Sand Order”.
- Finally, sand order will be placed.
How to track AP Sand Booking order?
To track the sand booking order, you need to follow the simple steps shared as under-
- Open AP send portal.
- Click on “Bookings” on the homepage of the portal.
- Select “Track Your Order” menu from the list.
- Enter your mobile no. and verify it.
- Login and check your sand booking order.
