APPS Town Planning Building Overseer Result 2019- Merit List

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the mains examination. Result of the online exam will be hosted only on the official website of the commission on the notified dates.

Only those candidates will be able to pass the exam who will secure qualifying marks fixed by the commission for this exam.

The minimum qualifying marks for each category of candidates are given as follow- 40% for Open Category, 35% for Backward Classes, and 30% for Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribes and Physically Handicapped candidates or as per rules.

Candidates should also note that mere securing minimum qualifying marks in the selection test does not confer any right to any of the candidate for being considered to final selection and appointment.

While preparing the merit list if two candidates secure equal marks than the resolution of tie will be done as per the given rule-

Candidates falling within the same bracket shall be ranked 1, 2, 3 etc., according to age of the candidate i.e. candidate oldest in age will be considered for admission. If tie still persists than the person who possesses educational qualification at earlier date will be considered for admission.
