About Banasthali University
The university was founded on October 6, 1935, by freedom fighters and educationists Hiralal Shastri and Ratan Shastri. In 1983 the institute was declared ‘deemed to be university’. The education offered by the university is of a high level this is why in 2010 the Review Committee (Tandon Committee) of Ministry of HRD appreciated the overall efforts of Vidyapith in various areas related to education and infrastructure of the university.
