Before the computerization of land records in India, all the details related to land holding and properties were recorded and maintained manually. It was a hectic and time-consuming task for both the concerned government bodies and citizens. Citizens were bound to visit the government offices for all the tasks related to the land. Even to obtain the account no. of their land record they had to visit the Tehsildar office and in hilly areas of Uttarakhand, it was quite tough task than other regions. However, with the computerization of land records it has become an easy and effortless task.

Department of Revenue & Board of Revenue, Govt. of Uttarakhand with the help of National Informatics Centre (NIC) has launched the online portal in order to provide land record details i.e. Khatauni/ ROR online to the citizens of the state. The digitization of all the land records across India was started under the national program called National Land Records Modernization Programme(NLRMP). The name of the land records portal through which citizens can check their land details in Uttarakhand is called Devbhoomi. The online portal is now used in all the thirteen districts of the state.

How to check Uttarakhand Land Records/ ROR?

Bhulekh is an online platform which is used to obtain the land records. But there are still some people who find difficulty in using the portal. However, the online portal has very easy user interface but due to lack of computer knowledge, they find it a difficult task. They do not have to worry as it is available in both Hindi and English and people can avail the service as per their convenience. • Visit official portal

Citizens have to begin with opening the official website of land records i.e. https://landuse.uk.gov.in/

or they can directly open Bhulekh Uttarakhand portal (http://bhulekh.uk.gov.in/).

• Select Bhulekh link

On the homepage, click on “Bhulekh-Land Records” link.

• Click on relevant link

Bhulekh portal will appear. On this page, click on “Public ROR” tab given on the top right side of the page.

• Select District

On this page, candidates have to select the relevant district from the available options.

• Select Tehsil

After selecting district, they have to select relevant district.

• Select Village

Now, they have to select relevant village.

• Select search option

Now, select among the following search options to proceed further- – search by Measles/ gata number – search by account no. – search by mutation date – search by vendor – search by buyer– search by the name of the account holder After selecting search option, enter the respective details and proceed further.

• ROR details display

Finally, ROR details will appear on the screen. Citizens should note that the online copy of ROR will not be authorized and will be unauthenticated copy and will be only for observation purpose.

How to get Authorised copy of ROR

People can only check their land record details such as ROR, khasra no., khatauni etc. through the online portal. The land record or ROR on the online portal is just for the purpose of observation. They cannot download and it is not an authorized copy of the land records.

Citizens have to visit the Tehsil Land Records Computer Center of the tehsil of the respective village to obtain the authenticated copy of the ROR. Candidates also have to pay certain charges prescribed by the government in order to obtain the ROR copy. The charges are following- Rs.15/- for first page of RoRRs.5/- per subsequent pages of RoR
