Bihar OFSS Intermediate Admission 2019: Bihar School Examination Board is inviting the online application form from the students who want to take admission in the intermediate class for the 2019-2021 session. Students will get admission in 11th and duration of the intermediate session will be 2 years. BSEB has developed an Online System for offering admission to the interested students in 11th standard.  Students can get admission through the OFSS (Online Facilitation System for Students) web portal. Its a hassle free online system and it was introduced in Bihar in 2018.

OFSS is a new process developed by the Bihar government to offer admission to the students in class 11 at the state government schools and colleges. This system offers the facility to apply for the admission. OFSS has made it easy for many students to submit their admission application without wasting a day or more in traveling from village to city.

Earlier the students from Bihar have to apply in various schools and colleges for admission in intermediate courses. The whole process used to require lots of time and money too. But according to this new process now students can send their application to minimum 5 and maximum 20 schools or colleges in one-time fee payment.

So with this new process now it has become convenient for the Bihar students who have passed out 10th to get admission in 11th



class for 2019- 2021 session. Students can get admission through BSES OFSS is any steam Art, Commerce or Science. The process to apply for the admission will remain the same.

Important Dates to apply for Bihar OFSS Intermediate Admission

The Bihar School Examination Board has initiated the process for submitting the applications to get the admission in Intermediate class for 2019 – 2021. The board is accepting the application for admission from 27 April 2019 onwards. Interested students can apply till 11 May 2019 online to get the admission in the school of their choice for intermediate classes.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for BSEB OFSS 2019 admission

Bihar Board of education has set some eligibility criteria for the interested candidates to apply for enrolling for the intermediate class for the next session.  According to the eligibility criteria, the applicant must have cleared 10th class from a recognized board.

The whole process for applying to get admission in intermediate/ class 11 is really easy and hassle-free. Unlike other state boards and the central board of secondary examination, in BSEB you can get admission by showing your Roll No, Roll Code & Date of Birth along with qualification proof.

The Process to apply for admission in 11th through OFSS

You need to follow the below given steps to get admission in class 11th under Bihar education board.

Step 1: Visit the official website of OFSS, here is the website address, www.ofssbihar.in.

Step 2: Click on the Link “Common Application form for Intermediate admission 2019” given on the home page.

Step 3:



A page with instructions to apply through OFSS will appear on your computer screen. Read all the instructions and click on the checkbox given at the end of the page followed by a click on a box have the text ‘Click to apply of OFSS’.

Step 4: Now a form will appear on your screen, you will have to provide all the asked details in the form. Type a unique mobile number and email-is while applying for the 11th class through BSEB OFSS.

Step 5: Now, upload scan copy of Passport size photo to the application form.

Step 6: You will have to select the colleges of your choice now. You can choose maximum 20 and a minimum of 5 schools to get admission in 11th. Follow below given instructions to select the colleges.

  • Select the District form drop-down list.
  • Then select College/School Name from another drop-down list.
  • Now select your  Stream (Arts, Science or Commerce).
  • And click on Submit Button for Submit the Option.

Step 7: Read all details filled in the application form and then click on the Confirm Button.  

Step 8: Now proceed to make the payment for the application form. You will have to pay Rs 300/- as application fee to submit your application. This application fee can be submitted through net banking, credit card, debit card or e-challan.

That’s how you can apply to get the admission in class 11th or intermediate session for2019-2021 online.

BSEB OFSS admission Selection Process 2019

Selection of the students for class 11th will be done on the basis of merit. OFSS will release the list of candidates based on their marks in class 10th. Total 3 merit lists will be released by the OFSS. If an applicant gets placed in the first Merit list then he/she will have to choose the preferred college among the first few one colleges selected by him/her.



So it is suggested to the applicants to selected most preferred college first and least preferred colleges last from the drop-down list while filling the application form.   Applicants will get the notification on their mobile number related to their selection in BSEB OFSS. They will get an SMS and an E-mail that will notify them that they have grant admission. After receiving the information applicants will have to visit the official website of OFSS and download the intimation letter. Applicants can note this that they will not get any information through the post.

BSEB OFSS Common application form (CAF) Availability The Common application form (CAF) to apply to get the admission in 11th class through Bihar Board can be filled from the following places;

  • Through the Internet from your home or cyber cafe.
  • Through any Vasudha Kendra.
  • By going to the District Registration and Counselling  Center
