Bihar Police SI Result 2019-2020
Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) invited applications for the recruitment of Sub Inspector (SI), Sergeant, and Assistant Superintendent Jail in Bihar Police. Under this recruitment process, total 2446 posts will be filled. Selection of suitable candidates for respective posts will be done on the basis of the two written tests (Pre and Mains), physical examinations, document verification.

Bihar Police SI Merit List 2019
The result for Bihar Police SI pre-exam is likely to be displayed in the form of a selection list. However, the marks obtained by the candidates will be published later. The result will be prepared only on the basis of scores of the candidates in preliminary exam. The selection list will be posted on the official website on the schedule dates.
Candidates will see information such as the name of the candidates who have qualified the exam and have been shortlisted for the next round i.e. Mains exam, their roll number and few other information regarding the result. only those candidates will be qualified and considered for mains examination who will secure marks equal or more than 30% in the exam. Candidates securing marks less than 30% will not qualify for next round.
The marks of candidates and cut-off marks criteria for pre exam will be published after the announcement of result. Merit list will be prepared post-wise and category-wise. Selection of candidates will be done 20 times the number of total posts as per the reservation rule.
While preparation of merit list, if two or more candidates secure equal marks in the written exam, then the tie will be resolved through a tie-breaking criteria. The following rule will be use in the given sequence-
- On the basis age- Candidate older in age will be given preference
- In case both the candidates have same age then the merit order will be determined on the basis of the qualification of the candidates. Candidate with higher qualification will be preferred.
- If tie still persist, then the merit order will be determined on the basis of the name of the candidates as mentioned on their class 10th certificates.
The cut-off marks for each category of candidates for each post will be uploaded online after the publication of selection list/ result. Commission might also display marks online after the declaration of result. Cut-off marks will be fixed by the commission/recruiting authority separately for each category.
Candidates have to scores as per the sectional cut-off marks and integrated cut-off criteria in the exam. Cut-off marks are fixed on the basis of total number of vacancies, total no. of candidates who have taken the exam, marking scheme, level of difficulty of exam, reservation rule etc.

Bihar SI Mains Exam and Final Result
As per the selection criteria, after preliminary exam mains exam will be conducted by the commission. Candidates who will qualify the preliminary exam will be eligible to take mains examination. The schedule and other details of main exam will be communicated after the publication of pre-exam.
After the mains exam, shortlisted candidates will be called or physical examination. Those who will clear the physical test will be called for document verification, medical examination, and further selection procedures.
