BPSC 65th Pre Result 2019

Admission to such pots clearly depends on the number of vacancies received by the commission from the various departments of the government. After the exam is conducted eligible candidates are grouped under different categories and had to go through the screening test for final selection. The final merit list is decided by the commission of the respective departments.

Types of cut off in BPSC 65th 2019

Mainly there are two types of BPSC civil services cut off:-

Qualifying Cut Off:-

This cut off marks is decided by the exam conducting body and the students must secure the required cut off marks in order to get selected for the mains exam.

Note:- only qualifying cut off marks will not determine whether the candidate is selected for the mains exam unless the overall marks is calculated.

Overall qualifying cut off:-

This is the minimum marks that is required for the students to secure so that they can get shortlisted for the next stage of the process.

The result of Bihar Public Service Commission 2019 will be declared n three stages:-

The result will be announced in PDF form in accordance with the roll no. Of all the shortlisted candidates. Once the result is published, the cut off marks will also be declared along with it.

The final result is declared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the mains exam and interview session.

The 65th BPSC combined examination was conducted on 15th October 2019 from 12 am to 2 pm. For this year 434 vacancies need to be filled by the BPSC exam

BPSC 65th Pre Answer Keys 2019

The answer key is an important tool for the students in calculating their scores based on the no of correct and incorrect answers. The answer key contains the right answers for all the questions asked in the exam. In case of any discrepancies, candidates can raise objections as per the prescribed format

BPSC 65th Paper Analysis 2019

As per the prelims paper conducted on 15th of October, overall the paper was tough . there were questions from different sections like , aptitude reasoning, general knowledge, history, geography, general science etc. The overall paper was difficult and confusing as well. Some of the major topics that must be covered by the students are given below.

Subject wise details about the prelims exam

General Science

From this section, there were 24 questions in total. The level can be considered as easy to medium. major topics covered are the human body, unit of pressure, sound wave, ammeter, atoms and molecules, scalar quantity.


Questions in this section were mainly asked from number system, algebra. Series and sequences and many other topics . the difficulty level for this paper can be considered as moderate to tough.


Some major and broad topics are included in this section, such as ancient history, medieval history. Some of the subtopics were :

Kakori train robbery, Swaraj dal in Bihar, Mansabdari system, servants of Indian society.

The overall level of the question was easy to medium.


Some of the topics asked over here was the sixth five year plan, economy corridors, questions were also asked from Bihar economy like the growth rate of tertiary sector etc.


In this section questions regarding the political system and the political parties were asked about the Aam Admi party, WPAT, Panchayati raj system etc.

As per the paper analysis, the questions were easy to moderate.


This section is very important and the questions asked are based on both national and international affairs. There were about 27 questions asked in this section with the difficulty level from moderate to tough. Some of the major topics covered in this section were :

  • Summer Olympics 2019
  • NAM 2019
  • IKEA
  • Bihar’s ranking in Niti Aayog health index


The questions in this section can be considered as moderate to tough, some of the major topics are listed below :

Bihar geography, forest cover, land and water geography, largest produce of saffron, Bihar census 2011, district which has the longer length of river Ganga etc.


In this section, questions were mainly asked about the coral reefs and WLS in Bihar.
