DDU UG Admission 2020: Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University was established in 1957. Approx 329 affiliated colleges come under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. The university is also known as DDU Gorakhpur University offers various UG and PG courses to the students. It also offers residential facilities to its students. Since its establishment the university has earned a name in the education field and many students want to get admission to this university.

The DDU University was established in Gorakhpur in 1957. The university is approved by the UGC and NAAC. Admission Process in DDU

To get admission in DDU Gorakhpur University the aspirants need to clear the entrance exam conducted by the university. The university releases the application forms usually in April or May every year. In 2019 the university released the application form for admission on 5 April 2019 which continued till 25 May 2019. DDU 2019 entrance exam: Eligibility Criteria



To get admission on the UG courses 2020 the candidate must have passed the 12the standard on or after 2016. If any candidate has filled the application form but passed the 12th class in 2015 or before that then he will not be called to sit in the entrance examination. Candidates who have cleared the examination or waiting for the result of board examination of 12th from any board for 2019-2020 session will also be eligible to attend the entrance examination of DDU University Gorakhpur. It is also compulsory for the candidates to clear the examination of class 12th with an aggregate 60%. To get admission in PG courses the applicant will also have to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the university for every PG course.

We have mentioned earlier that the admission of the students is done on the basis their performance in the entrance exam and their marks in previous classes or courses. To fill the application form the interested students will have to visit the official website of university. Students who are willing to take the entrance exam will have to first register them on the student portal. The application form will be available in April month.

After filling the application form the student will have to pay the application fee and they will be able to submit the application form. The application form can be filled online only. The applicants need to make sure that all the details mentioned in the form are correct as after submitting the form they will not get any chance to correct the details mentioned in the form.

To apply for a different course the student will have to fill and submit a different application form. In a single application, form students cannot apply for two courses.  Along with the application form the students will have to submit the scanned copy of few documents. DDU 2019 Entrance Exam: Required Documents



Applicants need to use an active mail id and mobile number to fill the application form at the time of filling the application form.

  • A scanned copy of their colored passport size photograph with the size of 100-150 KB in jpg file.
  • Scanned copies of all mark sheets of previously qualified degrees.
  • A scanned copy of the signature of the candidate in jpg format, not more than 100-150 KB.
  • Identity proofs of the students as such, Aadhar card, birth certificate, and PAN card, etc.

How to fill the application form of DDU Entrance exam 2019

Here is the process to fill the application to take the entrance exam of DDU Gorakhpur; University;

  • You will have to visit the official website of the university and here you need to do the registration for the DDU entrance exam 2019.
  • Click on the link ‘Online Admission Process’ available on the home page of the website.
  • Enter your correct Email ID and mobile number on the page. Both the mail id and mobile number should be active as information about DDU 2019 entrance exam will be sent to their registered information only.
  • After registration, the candidate will have to apply for the entrance exam by login with the mail id and password. 
  • As the last step, the Candidates will be asked to upload their scanned copy of colored passport size photos and their signatures along with other documents.
  • Once you complete the application form now the candidates will have to pay the application fee after submitting the application fee.

DDU Exam Centres



DDU Entrance exam is a state level entrance exam. The university will be the concerned authority to conduct and processed the entrance exam process. The entrance exam for various UG and PG courses will be conducted in the DDU University Gorakhpur, Utter Pradesh itself. To get admission to the university for entrance exam the candidates will need their admit card.

DDU Admit Card

The admit card to take the entrance exam will be released online on the official website of the university. The applicants can download the admit card from the website by login there with mail id and password. The DDU admit card for the entrance exam will be available online before 10-15 days of the entrance exam. All the applicants will have to carry the admit card to the exam hall. No candidate will be allowed to take the examination in absence of admit card. All the candidates will have to keep in mind that they will not get the admit card via post or courier.

DDU Entrance Exam Pattern

The exam of the DDU university will be conducted in offline mode. The date of the entrance exam will be announced by the university only. In the exam candidates will have to answer the multiple-choice questions. The result of the entrance exam will be released online on the official website of DDU. Candidates can check their results by login on the website with the earlier set login credentials. Once the result will be released the university will also issue the call letter for the counseling. the call letter for counseling will be released online and counseling will be conducted in the DDU University Gorakhpur Utter Pradesh.
