DRDO MTS Syllabus 2020

DRDO comes under the Ministry Of Defence. This organization focuses on research and development and this is fully owned by the Government of India. The vacancies for which DRDO has released the notification comes under General Central Service Group C (Non-Gazetted) Ministerial post. The vacancies for the post of MTS with pay matrix level 1 (Rs 18000-56900) are as per the 7^th CPC pay matrix and other benefits/allowances as per extant Gov. of India rule.

What is CEPTAM?

CEPTAM or Centre for Personnel Talent and Management of Defence Research and Development Organization working towards recruiting, training and assessing DRTC Cadre (Non-Scientist Cadre) and Admin & Allied Cadre. In simple words, it can be said that CEPTAM is an independent body that conducts the recruitment process of the Group C (Non-Gazetted) posts. So, for MTS 2020 the exam conducting body is CEPTAM.

DRDO MTS Education Qualification

The essential qualification for the post of MTS-2020 are-

Candidate should be 10^th pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
0R should be I.T.I pass.

Candidates must have acquired the education qualification requirement as on the crucial date of eligibility i.e. (23^rdJANUARY.2020) for the post they are applying. Candidates, who are awaiting the result of final examination as on the crucial date of eligibility for the prescribed qualification are not eligible .hence, should not apply.

Age Limit:

Candidates must be 18 to 25 years of age as on crucial date of eligibility. Relaxation is provided to SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and EXM. For relaxation, proforma for certificates can be download from the CEPTAM notice board at the official website.

The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40% for UR/ESM/OBC.
Qualifying marks for SC/ST for Tier-I is 35%.
The shortlisting of candidates for Tier-II will be done in the ratio to 1:10,

Which states (No. of vacancies: No. of candidates).

The first round of the examination is qualifying in nature while for the selection and merit list second round or Tier-II will be taken into consideration.

Resolution in the case of tie-:

In case of candidates scoring equal aggregate marks in Tier-2 examination, tie case will be resolved by applying following criteria.

Marks obtained by candidate in Tier-1 examination;
Alphabetical order of names(name starting with A will get preference over name starting from B);
Date of birth, older candidate placed higher in the merit list.

Candidates can follow these simple steps for filling up the form for DRDO MTS.

The above interface will appear and then click on the very first link showing online application for DRDO entry.
Every candidate has to register before filling the online application. Click for New Registration in the windows.
For the Initial Registration enter your Name, Date of birth, Mobile No.
The details are non-editable once register.
After the successful registration, candidates will get their User id, Passwords on their Registered Mobile no. and Mail id.
Thus, step-1 for initial registration completes.
Now, enter the credential from your Mail ID/Mobile No. and proceed giving basic information about yourself.
After filling personal information, Qualification details, posting preference, proceed for fee payment.
Online application fee of Rs 100/- through Credit card, Debit card, Net banking.SC/ST/Women are exempted from the fees.
