Directorate of Delhi, Govt. of NCT of Delhi every year invites online applications for the admission of Economically Weaker Section/ Disadvantaged Group (EWS/DG) category children into Entry Level Classes (i.e. Nursery/Pre-School, KG/Pre-primary, Class-I) in various private unaided schools of the national capital. The admissions are granted on the basis of computerized draw of lot. Directorate has received total 170572 applications for admission to the academic session 2020-21. As admissions are granted through draw not all candidates will be selected.

EDUDEL has already announced the 1st list of result. These children have to report the allotted schools to complete the admission process on or before the last date i.e. 31st March 2020. After the completion of first round of admission, and on the basis of available seats, directorate will release the 2nd computerized draw of lot result. After the announcement of result, all the successful candidates have to report to the allotted schools before the scheduled date between the working school hours. Parents/guardians will also be informed through phone calls regarding the selection and admission process by the allotted school.

Reasons for rejection of admission

Admission of selected candidates can be denied on following grounds by the concerned school-

Duplicate entry
Candidates fails to submit a valid date of birth proof
candidate fails to submit valid EWS/DG proof.
Candidates fails to submit valid residential proof.
Income certificate provided by the parents of the candidates does not show annual family income as less than 1 lakh.
Discrepancy between the details furnished in online application and original documents.
Name of the child is not there in the ration card (in case parents have submitted ration card as residence proof)
