HBTU Merit List 2020

HBTU merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores of the candidates in the qualifying exam and the cut-off marks criteria. Merit list will be prepared separately for each program after evaluating scores in the qualifying exam and eligibility.

• UG Program-

At present, HBTU offers B.Tech. degree programs in various disciplines which include Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Leather Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Biochemical Engineering, Paint Technology, Oil Technology and Plastic Technology. Each discipline has certain number of seats sanctioned on the basis of which admission is provided.  

Admissions to B.Tech programs are granted on the basis of JEE (Main) scores.

• PG Programs-

The university offers mainly MCA (Full Time) and M.Tech (Full Time and Part Time) courses under PG admissions. Admission to MCA program is made through National level entrance exam i.e. NIMCET.

M.Tech programs are offered in all the disciplines same as of B.Tech program. M.Tech include both Full Time and Part Time programs. Admission to M.Tech degree program is based on GATE score.    

• PhD Program-

HBTU also offer PhD courses to research scholars. University provide admissions to candidates in PhD programs on the basis of NET scores. University also conducts a written exam for candidates not having NET score card. The written test is followed by counselling, and interview.

HBTU Results 2020 Cut-Off Marks Criteria

Cut-off marks are basically the minimum marks required by candidates to qualify a test. In this cut-off marks will be fixed by the university officials on the basis of various factors. These factors include total number of applications submitted by the candidates, number of seats available, scores of candidates in qualifying exam, reservation criteria etc.

HBTU 2020 Counseling
