Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is the state education board that caters to secondary, higher secondary school education in the state. Along with this, it is also responsible for conducting recruitment exams teachers (TET), for clerks, group III posts, Assistants, etc.

Board has conducted TET for the recruitment of teachers (TGT) in different categories in the month of June 2019. Exam was conducted on separate dates for each subject. The minimum qualifying marks for all the categories is 60%. It means candidates must secure minimum 90 marks out of total 150 marks. Therefore, in order to qualify the exam and to be eligible for TET certificate, candidates must secure marks equal or above than the minimum qualifying marks.    

Once the result will be out, qualified candidates will be issued TET certificate. To get the certificate they have to contact the concerned person. HP TET Revaluation of Result

As the exam was conducted through OMR answer scripts, Board will follow a fully computerized system for the purpose of evaluation of the answer sheets. This eliminate errors and ensure transparency in the evaluation process.

Since the evaluation system is free from bias and errors there is no provision for rechecking and revaluation of answer scripts. Therefore, no such request in this regard will be entertained by the board under any circumstances.

Validity of TET Certificate      

After the announcement of TET result, qualified candidates will be issued TET certificates. Candidates with TET certificate will become eligible to be a teacher (TGT) in the schools of the state.

These TET certificates will be valid for a period of seven years from the date of issue of certificate.  If a candidate has qualified the exam but want to improve his/her marks, then he/she can apply again as there is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate takes to get the certificate or to improve marks.
