Selection will be purely based on the merit of the applicants. No selection exam has been conducted by the recruiting body. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in academics (High School, Intermediate and Graduation). Once the procedure of scrutiny of applications and assessment of marks will be done, recruiting authority will publish the merit list.               

As per the recruitment policy, out of total vacancies 75% vacant posts will be filled through direct recruitment at the state level and rest 25% vacancies will be filled through the promotion of existing Anganwadi workers. The provisional merit list will be published category-wise separately for each district of the state.

In case of a tie between the marks of two or more candidates, the merit will be determined on the basis of the age of the candidates. It means candidate older in will be given preference and ranked high.

The result is likely to be published as the merit list or provisional selection list. No hard copy of result shall be issued to any candidate. The merit list is expected to carry following information-

Name of the shortlisted candidates, application no., district, category, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, marks secured or marks percentage and other related details.                      

Submission of Objections

The merit list will be provisional in nature. After the publication of the result, candidates will be given a chance to submit objections against the merit list in case they have doubts about the same.

The complete information about the process and schedule of submitting applications shall be communicated to candidates through the official portal. Once the process for accepting objection will be over, the final merit list will be prepared and uploaded on the portal.      

Document Verification       

The second stage of the selection process is Document Verification. Candidates whose names will be there in the list have to verify all their original documents. The final appointment of candidates will be done only after proper scrutiny and verification of original certificates. Selected candidates will be appointed on contract basis for 1 year from the date of application.  

Candidates have to visit the verification center along with all the original documents on the scheduled date and time. The timing and schedule of the exam shall be intimated to candidates in due course of time. The necessary documents mainly include- High school or equivalent mark sheet and certificate, Intermediate mark sheet and certificate, Graduation mark sheet and certificates, category certificate, date of birth certificate, income certificate, and other relevant documents as specified by the recruiting committee.                                  

In case the documents or certificates of the candidates are found to be fake then their candidature will be canceled and legal action against them will be taken.
