The online applications were invited only from the unmarried male applicants for 400 vacancies of Stewards, Chefs and Hygienists APR 2020 BATCH. All the interested candidates have applied for the vacant posts till 1 August 2019. Now they are looking for the release of the cut-off marks and the merit list. Indian navy conducts the recruitment for Stewards, Chefs, and Hygienists twice in a year; for October batch and for April Batch. The recruitment process has been completed for the October batch and process to apply for April 2020 batch has also been concluded.
All the candidates who have applied for the vacant posts available in the Indian navy for the aforementioned posts must have appeared for the written examination. The exam to select the suitable candidates was conducted on 16 – 21 Sep 2019. The candidates who will qualify this exam will be shortlisted for the next stage of recruitment.

Indian Navy conducted the recruitment examination for the applicants who have applied for Indian Navy MR Vacancies on 16 – 21 Sep 2019. The result of this examination will be released after 30 days of conducted the exam.
The selection process for Stewards, Chefs, and Hygienists in the Indian Navy includes Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Standards. The result of each exam takes a month or slightly more time. As of now, only the written exam has been conducted. Candidates who will qualify the written test will be sent for the next round of interviews. Thus the final result of this recruitment examination will be released in February 2020.

All those candidates who have participated in the written exam for Indian Navy MAT Recruitment 2020 are looking for the release of the result of the exam. As we mentioned above that the participants need to wait until the second week of October 2019. The information about the final result release date will be published on the official website of Indian Navy result declaration. After conducting the written test the cut off marks and the merit list of the qualified candidates for Stewards, Chefs and Hygienists will be released. Approx 1600 candidates will be shortlisted for the vacant posts in Navy MR. These candidates will be sent for the PFT (Physical Fitness Test) round. Those candidates who will clear the PET test will have to face the Preliminary Recruitment medical examination. If any candidate considered as temporary medically fit then he can avail specialist review from the specified Military Hospital. Candidates need to inform the department to avail of this facility within a maximum period of 21 days after that no request for re-checking will be considered. At last the candidates’ original documents will be verified by the officials. Following documents are required for this process;

The recruitment officials for MR Recruitment in the Indian Navy will release the cut-off marks for the exam. The cut-off marks denote the minimum required marks that a candidate needs to qualify the exam. The cut-off marks for appearing in PFT & Preliminary Recruitment Medical will be varying from one state to another.
Indian Navy will release a state wise merit list for the candidates who have passed in PFT and Preliminary Recruitment Medical Examination. The merit list for Indian Navy MAT examination will be prepared for the candidates’ marks scored in the recruitment examination. If two or more candidates will score the same marks in the exam then their rank in merit list will depend on higher percentage in the qualifying examination i.e 10th. Expected Navy MR Steward cut-off may go around 30 to 40 marks out of 50.
The result of the Indian Navy MR will be released on the official website of Indian Navy. It is expected that the result will be in February 2020. By then all different phases of the exam will also be completed. Candidates who will get select in this recruitment drive to select the job seekers at different posts as per their qualification will be called to INS Chilka for Final enrolment medicals. Candidates failed to report at INS Chilka at the given date and time will not be considered again for this recruitment cycle. Here the candidates will have to go through to the fitness test again for the last time. Any candidate failed to clear the fitness test will lose his contender ship for the vacant post and he will not be having any right to apply for the re-examine for fitness and medical test. The candidates’ selection pertaining will be valid for that particular batch only and candidate will not be having right to claim a seat in next batch if his name is not present in the merit list.
