JEXPO Counselling 2019 Schedule: The counseling will be conducted in online mode. JEXPO Counseling for the academic session has been started from 17th June 2019to 29th June 2019. Currently, West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development, the conducting authority of JEPXO is arranging a Pre-counseling Seminars 17 different government polytechnics of the state for providing guidance to the merit list candidates JEXPO 2019.
Aspiring candidates can join these seminars to get complete information on the admission process. After completion of these seminars, council will organize online JEXPO 2019 counseling for allotment of seats to the candidates. The complete schedule for admission and notification will be given on official website in a few days. It will also be shared here on this page.

JEXPO Counseling 2019
JEXPO counseling will start most probably from 17th June 2019. Candidates whose names are the merit list are eligible and can apply for online admission. It will be an online counseling. Once online counseling window will be activated, candidates can apply register and fill choices for their preferred college and discipline.

JEXPO admission procedure consist of various stages that every aspiring candidate have to go through to get the admission. The detailed information on all the stages is given below-
1). Online Registration
The first step is online registration for JEXPO counseling by the candidates. No offline registration forms will be issued by the council as it will be an online process completely.
For registration, participants have to visit the official website. They have to hit the counseling registration link. Now, they have to fill all the entries carefully by providing correct information. After successful registration, they will be issued a registration/ enrolment number.
2). Student Login
To proceed further, they have to go login by using the enrolment/ registration number. They can follow the given steps-
- Click on “Student Login” section.
- Enter the “enrolment number” and password.
- Hit the login button.
3). Choice Filling
- Once candidates have logged in, they can exercise options.
- They have to go to the choice filling section.
- They can add choices for institutes and disciplines as per their preferences.
- Candidates are advised to make as many as choice as they can. It will increase the probability of securing admission to their preferred college.
- After filling the choices, they can click on “Save” button.
- Once final entries are made, they can “lock” the choices. They are advised to recheck the choices they have made before locking them.
- Lastly, they have to take a printout of the locked choices and retain it for future references.
4). Allotment of Seats
On the basis of merit, reservation applicable, choices filled and other factors, council will announce the seat allotment result after few days. Seat allotment is expected to completed in three phases. Those who will not be allotted seats in the first round should not lose hope and should wait for subsequent seat allotments.
5). Downloading of Allotment letter
After seat allotment, each selected candidate will be issued an allotment letter. These candidates are then required to download the allotment letter. Seat allotment letter can be downloaded online by using valid credentials.
6). Reporting at Allotted college
The last stage is reporting at the allotted college. Candidates who will be satisfied with the seat allotment have to report at the allotted polytechnic institute on date and time specified to them.
They should note that they report personally at the institute along with all the original documents and certificates for verification. They also have to pay the requisite admission fee in order to book the seat and confirm the admission.
Candidates failing to report to the allotted college in stipulated schedule may get disqualified from the admission process.

- JEXPO scorecard
- Seat allotment letter
- Printed copy of JEXPO application form
- SSC/ Equivalent mark sheets
- Class 10th/ HSC admit card
- Identity card- Aadhaar card/voter ID/ Passport/School Id issued by competent authority.
- Domicile certificate
- Category certificate
- Migration certificate from institution last attended
- Character certificate
- Medical fitness certificate

Medical Standard for Admission
Along with other eligibility conditions, candidates should also satisfy fitness standards. The basic medical fitness requirements that every selected candidate should follow are-
- They should be mentally sound and physically fit
- They should not be color blind
- They should be able to pursue technical course
