JK PET 2020 Resolution of Tie
In case of tie between the marks of two candidates, Board will use a tiebreaker. Board will follow the given criteria (in the same order as provided below) to determine the inter-se-merit-
- Marks obtained by the candidates in the Mathematics section in the test.
- Marks obtained in Physics component of the test.
- Marks obtained by the examinee in Chemistry.
- If tie still persists then the candidate older in age will be given preference.
J&K Polytechnic Admission Counselling
JK PET 2020 Counseling is supposed to start in first or second week of June 2020. Candidates who are aspiring to get a seat in their preferred polytechnic college of the state must participate in the online counselling.
Candidates have to exercise option on the online counselling form. They have to fill preferences for their preferred Polytechnic programs and college in the state. They can indicate as many as choices for discipline and preferred polytechnic institutions.
On the basis of eligibility, merit in the entrance test, and preferences filled by the candidates, seats will be allotted to them. Seat allotment will be done in various phases till all the seats get filled. Counseling schedule and further admission procedure will be notified soon to the candidates through the Board’s website.
In case, Board decides to conduct physical counseling then physical presence of candidates at the counseling center is must. They are required to be present at the counseling venue with all the essential documents.
