CEE KEAM Rank list 2020: Check KEAM Merit List and Result


KEAM Result 2020: Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Examination (KEAM) 2020 is conducted in the month of May. Now, Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala the conducting authority is expected to announce the result of the entrance exam in June 2020.

KEAM Rank List 2020

KEAM Rank list will be published through online mode only. No hard copy of merit list will be dispatched to any candidate through post. Candidates have to visit the official website of CEE to access the result. The result will be followed by the publication of rank list and category list. On the basis of ranks, finally, seat will be allotted to the candidates through a single window system called Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

How to check KEAM Rank List?

To download the KEAM result through the online mode, candidates can follow the given steps-

  • Visit the official online portal of CEE, Kerala.
  • Homepage of the portal will be displayed.
  • Enter the login details viz. application number, password and access code in the candidate’s login section.
  • Click on the login tab.
  • Click on the Rank list link.
  • Result will be displayed.
  • Check the CEE KEAM Rank list.
  • Download or take a printout of the result for future purpose.

KEAM online published result of all the programs will indicate the given particulars of the candidates and their performance in the exam-

  • Name of the candidate  
  • KEAM Roll number
  • Application no.
  • Name of the course

  • Marks obtained in each section/subject

KEAM Qualifying Standard

Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks to eligible to figure in the rank list. Qualifying marks are set as per the discretion of the conducting authority for every course. For each program, the qualifying standard will be different. The qualifying standard for all the programs is given below-

  • Engineering Courses- Candidates must secure at least 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II. There is no requirement of minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates. 
  • MBBS/BDS/BAMS/ BHMS/BSMS/BUMS courses- These candidates should secure minimum 50th percentile in NEET (UG) (40th percentile for SC/ST/SEBC).
  • Agriculture/Veterinary/Forestry/Fisheries courses- These candidates have to secure minimum 20 marks in NEET-UG. For SC/ST candidates there is no requirement of minimum qualifying marks.

KEAM Final Rank List 2020

After the release of result, CEE will also publish the rank list of the candidates. Rank list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates.

For each of the given program, a separate rank list will be prepared-

  • Engineering Courses
  • Architecture Course
  • MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BSMS/BUMS
  • Agriculture, Veterinary, Forestry, and Fisheries
  • BAMS Course
  • B.Pharma. Course

This rank list will be utilized only by the CEE, Kerala for the purpose of admission to any of the professional course. Rank list for all the programs will be released separately for all the programs. It is supposed to release on or before June 2020.

Validity of Keam Rank List-

Rank list of a particular program will be valid only up to a specified date. The programs validity information is as follows-

  • Engineering Rank list – It will be valid August 2020as per the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
  • Architecture Rank list- It will be valid till August 2020
  • B.Pharm Rank list- It will be valid till August 20.
  • MBBS/BDS Rank List- It will be valid till August 2020.


  • BHMS/BSMS/BUMS/Agriculture/Veterinary/Forestry/Fisheries Rank list- It will be valid till October 2020.
  • Ayurveda Rank list- It will be valid till October 2020.

Talking about the weeding out rule, the record of KEAM 2020, it will be preserved by the commission only till October 2020. Therefore, all the candidates are advised to avail it before the last date.

KEAM Category List

On the basis of rank list, CEE will also publish provisional category lists for Community reservation, Special reservation, Persons with Disabilities, etc. A separate list will be published for all the programs. Candidates have to verify and satisfy themselves regarding the date provided on the category list. In case of any complaint regarding the same, they can submit their objections to the CEE, Kerala within the specified period.

After considering the complaints and objections, a revised category list will be published. This list will be final and no further correspondences in this regard will be accepted.

KEAM Result Resolution of Tie

 Of two more candidates obtain equal marks than a tie-breaker will be used to prepare the rank list. The criteria for resolution of tie for each program is given below-

  • Engineering
    • Higher marks in Mathematics in the entrance exam.
    • Higher marks in Physics and Chemistry in the entrance exam
    • Candidate with higher standardized marks in Mathematics of the final year of the qualifying examination will be preferred.
    • candidate with higher standardized marks in Physics of the final year of the qualifying examination will be ranked high.
    • Candidates older in age will be given preference.
  • Architecture

    • Higher scores in NATA
    • Higher marks in Mathematics of the final year of the qualifying exam.
    • Candidate older in age will be ranked high.
  • B.Pharma

    • Higher marks in Chemistry in Paper-I of the entrance exam.
    • Candidate older in age will be ranked high.
  • Ayurveda

    • Candidate will higher rank in NEET-UG will be given preference.
  • Higher marks in Mathematics in the entrance exam.


  • Higher marks in Physics and Chemistry in the entrance exam
  • Candidate with higher standardized marks in Mathematics of the final year of the qualifying examination will be preferred.
  • candidate with higher standardized marks in Physics of the final year of the qualifying examination will be ranked high.
  • Candidates older in age will be given preference.
  • Higher scores in NATA
  • Higher marks in Mathematics of the final year of the qualifying exam.
  • Candidate older in age will be ranked high.

CAP and Online submission of Options

After the release of result and rank list, CEE, Kerala will invite applications for the counseling process known as Centralized Application Process (CAP). CAP will be conducted through a Single Window System (SWS) for allotment of seats in various course and colleges to the candidates.

On the basis of ranks, candidates will be invited for CAP and submitting option for their preferred colleges in the state of Kerala. The complete information about the CAP will be notified later on the official portal of CEE, Kerala.
