The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala is an authority under the Government of Kerala responsible for catering to the admission of candidates to plus one and plus in various Government and Govt. aided higher secondary schools of Kerala.
The admission of suitable candidates to plus one/ class XI in DHSE, Kerala affiliated schools is being carried out by a Single Window Admission (Ekajalakam, Kerala) called as HSCAP, Kerala.

As the name suggests, 3rd allotment of seat is a process of allotment of seats to candidates to fill the rest of seats after 2nd round allotment. It is generally conducted to provide an idea to the candidates about the chances of getting a seat to the class/course and college on the basis of options exercised and merit of the candidates.
This seat allotment will be done only through online mode. The seat allotment result will be uploaded on the official portal. Candidates whose applications have been verified can access it online by using their application number and other relevant details. They must note that seat allotment result for any stage will not be provided in physical form to any candidate.
HSCAP, Kerala plus one applicants soon will be able to see third seat allotment online. Admission authority is not going to communicate 3rd allotment result through post. No hard copy of seat allotment will be issued or displayed other than on the official site. Hence, applicants are advised to access it only through the online mode.

- Step I- Visit official portal
Candidates firstly, have to visit the official admission portal. The admission portal link as follows- http://www.hscap.kerala.gov.in.
- Step II- Click the relevant link
Candidates will see the homepage of the website on opening the website. On this page, they have to click on the link provided for 3rd seat allotment 2019.
- Step III- Enter login details
On this page, candidates have to enter the application no., date of birth and have to select the district from the options. Once all the entries have been made correctly, click on the “submit” button.
- Step IV- Seat Allotment list appear
After submit the valid login details, 3rd seat allotment list will appear. They can check all the details on how they will get the final seat allotment.
- Step V- Save and download
Once candidates have checked all the details, they can download the seat allotment. They can also take a printout of it if they wish for future correspondences.

Post-Third Seat Allotment Result Activities
Once the 3rd seat allotment process will complete, applicants may be given a chance to make modifications in the choices submitted by them at the time of applications. After this, 2nd seat allotment list was displayed on 31st May 2019. Those who will not be allotted any seat in third allotment have to wait for 4th seat allotment result to be declared soon.
Candidates who will be allotted seats have to report to the allotted school on the specified schedule with all the required documents and have to complete the admission formalities. The classes for class 11th/ plus one will start from 3rd
