Kerala Polytechnic 3rd Seat Allotment Result 2019 for the year 2019 has been released online on 4th July 2019. Kerala Polytechnic 2019 counseling was started from the second week of June. Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the class 10^th and 12^th marks as no entrance exam is conducted for entrance in the polytechnic colleges.

There are 51 Polytechnic Colleges in Kerala out of which 45 are Govt. Polytechnics and 6 are Govt. aided Polytechnic institutes.

Kerala Polytechnic Third Round Allotment 2019

All the candidates who did not get their names in the 2nd allotment list, can check their name in 3rd seat allotment list. The Department of Technical Education, Kerala opened their applications on May 28, 2019 and the last date to fill the application form was June 15, 2019.

The Selected Candidates will need to submit the hardcopy of the admission form at the Nodal Polytechnic College by June 17, 2019 by 4 PM. The officials will announce the first round seat allotment result on 24th June 2019.

The corrections of Applications will take place on June 22, 2019, and Final Rank list for Kerala Polytechnic will be declared by June 24, 2019.

The selected candidates will need to report at Nodal Polytechnic college by June 27, 2019 after which admissions will not be accepted for the first allotment list.

After completion of all the process and selection of first allotment list, the officials will release the Second Allotment list by June 29, 2019 on their official website and candidates selected in Second Allotment list will be required to report at Nodal College of Polytechnic by July 1, 20199 after which their admissions will not be accepted.

The Third and Last Allotment List will be published by the department on July 3, 2019 for which the selected candidates will need to report at the college by July 6, 2019 after which there will not be any more online admissions.

The University will open on the spot admissions at the Nodal Polytechnic College itself if there are candidates applicable for it on July 9, 2019 and classes will commence from July 10,2019.

There are two streams available for the Diploma courses which are characterized in Stream 1 and Stream 2.

Stream 1 includes Diploma in Engineering and Technology.

Stream 2 includes Diploma in Commercial Practice/ Diploma in Computer Practice and Business Management

(Note: Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam for Mathematics, English and Science both are eligible to apply for both the stream: Stream 1 and Stream 2 and Candidates who have passed the examination with Mathematics and English are eligible to apply for Stream 2.)

Eligibility Criteria for Kerala Polytechnic Admission:

The Candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The candidate should be a native resident in Kerala or must have undergone any qualifying examination from any recognized institute in Kerala State.
- Candidate’s parents should be a permanent employee in the state of Kerala in Central/ State or any other sector.
- The candidates should have qualified SSLC/ THSLC or any other relevant examination.
- Candidates who have appeared more than twice to secure a position for higher studies in SSLC or THSLC or any other relevant examinations are not eligible for Kerala Polytechnic Admissions.
- For CBSE/ICSE Open School Candidates the marks obtained in Science is considered at the place of Chemistry and Physics and in case of CBSE candidates, only the board certificate shall be accepted as a qualifying certificate for the criteria.
