Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a fellowship program stated by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India to encourage and identify talented students of the country to pursue their career in Science and research. Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), Bangalore, is the responsible authority that manages and carry out all the activities of KVPY fellowship program.
KVPY 2019 aptitude test was held in November 2019 whereas interview was conducted in January-February 2020. Every year a huge number of students from various parts of India participate in it.

How to access KVPY 2019 Result?
KVPY final result for 2019 will be hosted on the official website, candidates can access it from there.
To help the candidates in accessing their result, we have shared the step-by-step process below-
- Step I- Visit official portal
The very first step is to visit the official website of KVPY (mentioned above).
- Step II- Open the Result link
They will see “The result of KVPY Fellowship award 2019” option flashing on the homepage of the portal. They have to hit the “Click here” link given in front of the option.
- Step III- Select the relevant option
The result links will appear. Candidates have to click on their respective stream under the category they belong to.
- Step IV- Check the result
- Step V- Save the result

KVPY Result 2019- Particulars mentioned on result
As we have mentioned above that result has been published as merit list PDF, it only indicates the names of the candidates who have been recommended for the award of this fellowship program. How to obtain KYPY 2019 marks?
IIS has released the merit list of the selected candidates for interview. KVPY interview and test marks will be updated in a couple of days. Candidates have to check their marks on the official portal of KVPY once it will be made available there.
As per the official notice, marks of the candidates who have attended the interview, can check their final results soon. IIS will upload marks of both selected and not selected candidates on KVPY portal. Candidates can obtain their marks from official website by logging in with their application number and date of birth.

KVPSY Cut Off Marks 2019
Along with the publication of merit list of candidates recommended for the award of KVPY Fellowship 2019 Conducting authority has also published the category-wise cut off marks for all the streams.
Cut-off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate must secure to qualify an exam. Only those candidates have been selected for this fellowship who have scored above the cut-off marks. Cut-off marks varies stream to stream and category to category of the candidates. The cut-off for this final result has been prepared considering the marks of the candidates in the written exam (75%) as well as in the interview (25%).

KVPY result is prepared after a proper evaluation of the answer sheets. The answer scripts under a thorough checking and cross-checking process to prepare an accurate result. Therefore, there is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking.
As final result has been declared and merit list of candidates have been released candidates cannot apply for re-evaluation. No request or objection in this regard are not supposed to entertained.

KVPY 2019 Fellowship Award
The following amount will be awarded to the finally selected candidates under the purview of this PYKY fellowship program-
Activation of KVPY Fellowship Award 2019
Mere name in the merit list will not imply that candidate will surely be awarded with the fellowship. KBPY Fellowship award will be effective only after the verification of the required documents of the selected candidates. Only those candidates will be finally awarded the fellowship whose documents will be up to the mark and who satisfy the required criteria.
For SA Stream candidates- Fellowship will be effective from 1st August 2020 only if they join an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.) in various branches.
For SX/SB candidates- Fellowship for these candidates will be effective from 1st August 2019 provided they pursue an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.) in different branches.
After admission to the course, candidates must intimate KVPY office by email ( ) about their admission by the scheduled date so that office can forward the required forms and KVPY fellowship can be activated.
KVPY Fellowship Award 2019
Applications forms for the 2019 were in the second Sunday of July 2019. The aptitude examination for this fellowship program is schedule to be conducted on 3rd
Depending on the performance of the candidates in aptitude test, candidates will be shortlisted for interview. These shortlisted candidates have to download the admit card from the second week of October 2019 in order to appear for interview.
In order to appear for the interview, provisionally selected candidates have to carry following documents with them-
- Interview call Letter (to be downloaded online)
- Attested copy of Marks card
- Medial certificate issued from a competent authority (in case of physically and visually challenged students)
- Caste certificate issued from a competent authority (in case of SC/ST candidates)
- Study certificate
- A self-appraisal form
- Teacher recommendation form
Candidates without any of the aforementioned documents will not be allowed to attend the interview. After the conduct of interview, final merit list of the candidates will be released.
