List of Engineering Entrance Exams 2020: Engineering courses such as B.Tech, B.E., B.Arch, etc are some of the undergraduate courses which are the first preference of the students who have completed their 10+2 with science stream.

National Level Engineering Entrance Exams 2020
- JEE Mains
When it comes to Engineering courses in India JEE Mains is the first name that strikes our mind. JEE Mains is the popular engineering entrance exam. After clearing JEE Mains candidates have to appear in JEE Advance exams and if cleared they get admission into Undergraduate programs (B.Tech) in top engineering colleges of India like IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and other engineering colleges.
JEE Mains from 2020 will be conducted by National Testing Agency twice a year.
Eligibility-
- 10+2 with Science stream (PCM plus English as compulsory subjects).
- For admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs applicants must have qualified 10+ with 75% (65% for reserved category) marks in aggregate.
JEE Advance- JEE Mains is followed by JEE Advance exam. It is conducted by IITs on a rotational basis. Only those candidates who have qualified JEE Mains are eligible for JEE Advance exam. JEE Advance for 2020 is expected to be conducted in the month of May 2020.
- BITSAT
BITSAT is conducted at 50 test cities across India and 1 test center at Dubai.
Candidates after completing 10+2 with PCM group are eligible for B.E (various trades) at BITS.
- NATA
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi for admission to the undergraduate course in Architecture at various architecture colleges in India.
Eligibility-
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from a recognized Board.
- Applicants with 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized with central/state government with at least 50% with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- CUCET
Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national engineering entrance test conducted jointly by eleven central universities of India.
- GATE
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level test conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs on the behalf of Co-ordination Board-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
After qualifying GATE, candidates are eligible for admission in postgraduate programs. GATE score is also used by several Public sector Undertakings for recruitment of graduate engineering.
Eligibility- Candidates must hold a bachelor degree (B.Tech/B.E/B.Arch) from a recognized college. There is no age limit criterion.
- ICAR AIEEA
All India Entrance Exam for Admission (ICAR) for admission into UG and PG courses in various Agriculture Universities.
- NIFT Entrance Exam
NIFT entrance exam is a national level exam conducted by National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) for admission into various UG and PG design, fashion and design technology courses in the institute.
Eligibility-
- For Bachelor of Fashion Technology-B.F.Tech (Apparel Production)- 10+2 with PCM from a recognized Board.

- VITEEE
VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University for admission into various Undergraduate and Postgraduate engineering programs in the Vellore and Chennai campuses of the University.
Eligibility- 10+2 with at least 60% marks (50% for reserved category) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects taken together.
- SRMJEE
SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is a university-level exam conducted by SRM University for admission into engineering programs offered at its various campuses.
- Banasthali University Aptitude Test
Banasthali University is one of the popular Universities in India for women. Banasthali University conducts Banasthali University Aptitude Test for admission into various UG engineering programs.
Eligibility- Only female candidates are eligible. Applicants must have passed 10+2 (PCM) with 60% aggregate marks.
- Manipal Entrance Test (MET)
Manipal Entrance Test is a university level entrance exam conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (formerly Manipal University) for admission in various UG and PG courses offered by the University.
- AMUEEE
AMU Engineering Entrance Exam is a university entrance exam conducted by Aligarh Muslim University for admission in various engineering courses in the university and its affiliated colleges.
Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination (UGEE) is conducted by the International Institute of Information Technology (IIT) Hyderabad for providing admission into an undergraduate degree program.
Admission into B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is provided on the basis of JEE Mains Score.

- Tech program- Minimum 60% marks in 10th and 60% aggregate in 10+2 in PCM.

- WBJEE
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts WBJEE exam annually for admission of candidates in the various government and private engineering colleges and universities of West Bengal.
- UPSEE
Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is a state level engineering entrance test. It is conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow for admission in the various government and private engineering colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
- BCECE
Eligibility- 10+2 with at least 45% (40% for reserved category) marks. Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects in 10+2. There is no age restriction for candidates.
Gujarat Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat for admission in undergraduate engineering courses.
- MHT CET
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra for admission into engineering and pharmacy courses in various universities of Maharashtra.
Eligibility- 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.

Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Exam (JEECE) is a state level entrance test organized by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission into various engineering courses.
Jammu Kashmir Common Entrance Test is conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JAKBOPEE) for admission of candidates into engineering courses in various colleges of the state.

- Assam CEE
Assam CEE (Assam Combined Entrance Examination) is organized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam. It is a gateway to various engineering colleges in the state. Candidates must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
- KEAM
Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala conducts Common Entrance Examination Kerala (KEAM) for admission in engineering & pharmacy courses in the state of Kerala.
- UKSEE
Uttarakhand State Entrance Test (UKSEE) is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University for admission into various Undergraduate and Postgraduate course in engineering, Pharmacy, management etc.
- OJEE
Odisha Joint Entrance Exam is conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board. OJEE Board provides admissions to the candidates on the basis of JEE Mains scorecard and a special OJEE exam is conducted for the candidates who have not appeared in JEE Mains exam.
COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test is conducted by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for admission of candidates into engineering college affiliated to COMEDK. Admission to B.Arch will be done on the basis of NATA score.
Age criteria for B.Tech (Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering, and FS &T)- Minimum age as on 31st December of the year or applying must be 17 years. Upper age limit for General category is 22 years and for SC, ST candidates us 25 years.
