MAHA CET result for the year 2019 has been released on 4th June 2019. MAHA CET 2019 Merit List is going to carry various details about the exam and score of the candidates. All the information that will be reflected on the MAHA CET scorecard is as follows-

  • Candidate’s first name
  • Father’s or husband’s first name

  • Subject group that candidate has opted

MAHA 2019 Normalization of Marks

The scorecard or result of MHT CET will be prepared on the basis of normalization of marks. As the entrance exam was conducted in multiple shifts on different dates, conducting authority will follow normalization marks criteria to prepare the result. It is basically used by the conducting authority to make sure that no candidate is benefitted or disadvantaged due to the level of difficulty of examination in different shifts.

The ranks will be prepared on the basis of normalized marks. Candidates will be awarded percentile score on which ranking will depend. It means the marks of the candidates are converted into a scale of ranging from 0 to 100. Normalized score of the candidates is the basis for percentile.

The formula used for calculating the percentile score is under-

Percentile Score = 100* No. of candidates in exam with normalized marks ≤ the candidate) ÷ Total no. of candidates in the exam

MAHA CET Cut-Off marks 2019

The minimum marks required by the candidates to qualify an exam are known as cut-off marks.



After the release of MAHA CET 2019 result, each participating institute will publish its cut-off marks and hence, cut-off marks will vary institute to institute.  Cut-off marks will be updated on the official website so that candidates can get information whether they are eligible for admission to the particular college or not.

To get an idea about the Current Cut-off marks, candidates can check previous year cut-off marks of various institutes. The institute-wise cut-off marks details for all the institutes of the state is shared on the official website.

MAHA CET Admission Process

After the declaration of result, Maharashtra CET Cell will invite application for admission. Merit list is one of the crucial factor that decides whether a candidate is eligible for admission or not.

Merit list will be released after the publication of result. The admission procedure will include online registration and document process. Candidates have to verify their documents on the given time schedule. On the basis of percentile, document verification and eligibility of candidates, MHT CET merit list will be prepared. Based on merit list further admission procedure will be conducted.

MAHA CET 2019 Counseling

MHT CET result will be followed by the conduct of counseling. The admission process or counseling process organized by the CET Cell is known as Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

It means counseling for granting admission will be conducted online. All the details about the admission process will be shared later on official website.
