MahaTET is a state-level eligibility exam organized every year to test the eligibility of the candidates for the job of a teacher. It has now become mandatory for all the elementary teachers (Class 1^st to 5^th). The exam was conducted for two levels i.e. for Elementary Teachers (Class 1^st to 5^th) and Upper Primary Teacher (i.e. Class 6^th to 8^th).

Candidates who will secure minimum qualifying marks in the test will be listed in the merit list. Only those candidates will become eligible for the award of MAHATET 2019 certificate. The results for both the papers are likely to be announced on the same day.

How to check MAHATET Result 2020?

MAHATET 2020 result shall be posted on the official website. Candidates are required to check it from there only. In order to check the result sheet online, candidates should have a look at the step by step procedure shared as under-

Step I- Start by visiting the official website of Maha TET 2019 i.e. http://mahatet.in/.
Step II- Click on the “Login (Candidates)” tab given on the left side of the homepage of the portal.
Step III- Login page will appear.
Step IV- Enter the TET Registration ID and Password. Click on Submit button.
Step V- Click on MAHATET result option.
Step VI- Finally the scorecard for the concerned paper will display on the screen.
Step VII- Check the result details and qualifying status.

MAHA TET Cut Off Marks 2020

In order to become eligible for TET certificate, candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks fixed by the concerned authority. Minimum qualifying marks have been fixed category-wise. Check category-wise minimum qualifying marks details shared as under-

Candidates who will obtain marks less than the fixed minimum qualifying marks in their respective category will not be eligible for certificate.

Maha TET Certificate 2020

Candidates who will qualify the eligibility test will be awarded TET certificate by the Government. Issue of certificates to these candidates will imply that they are eligible to be appointed as an elementary or primary teacher in any school of the state. However, candidates should note that the issue of certificate does not confirm the recruitment of the candidate.

The information about the allotment of certificates will be intimated to qualified candidates after the publication of result. Recruitment and final selection of teachers will depend on the recruitment policies of the institution/ school.

The validity of MAHATET 2020 Certificate

The certificate issued by the Government to the qualified candidates will be valid for a certain period of time and all the candidates are advised to utilize it within the validity period. MAHATET 2019 certificate will be valid for a period of two years from the date of issue.

In case a candidate has passed the exam but not satisfied with the marks and wants to improve can also do so. They can take the exam again in order to improve their level.
