Education Qualification

Essential Qualification: the candidate who is applying for the post must have the ability to read and write the Bengali, English and vernacular (Hindi, Urdu, Oriya & Nepali languages)

Duties of the Post

Collection of waste from door to door

: candidates who have been shortlisted for the post may have to collect the solid waste from door to door. And for that, they need to blow the whistle to indicate your arrival. Waste will be collected from the different households of various wards which came under the municipal corporation of the WB.

Street sweeping: the candidate assigned for the job need to sweep the road regularly in the ward allotted.

Transportation of wastes: under this, the waste collected by you will be transported to Vats/Compactor stations through:

Hand carts
Tri cycle
Battery operated hydraulic dumpers
Auto tipper trucks

Dumping garbage: they will also engage you in the duty of dumping garbage at the data dumpsite.

Selection Procedure

Those candidates who have been applied for the post will be shortlisted first for the written examination and personality test. And those who qualify the same will have to undergo the field test

In the field test, they will have to remove the garbage manually using spade/shovel or other items and load the same in the vehicles.

Eligibility Criteria and Duties

Age

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 40 years

Education qualification

For English/Hindi/Urdu teacher

Must have completed their higher secondary from West Bengal with at least 50% marks and
Having a 2 years diploma in Elementary Education which is approved from NCTE OR
4 years bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.) OR
2 years diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
Must be graduate and having a two years diploma in elementary education
And candidates must be TET qualified (State/Central)

Note: If the certificate issued from other than the West Bengal Council of HSE, then the certificate must be authorized from the government of India or the concerned state.

Candidates must have completed their secondary certificate with Mathematics and English as a subject.

The dome must collect small and medium carcass from the lanes, streets, roads, etc.
