NABARD Grade A Officer Recruitment 2020: (Update) NABARD has released the Admit card for the Grade ‘A’ officer 2020 post on their official website, so those candidates who had applied for the post may download their admit from the link given below on this page. The examination for the said post will be held on 25th of February 2020.

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has issued the notification for the 154 posts of Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ Officer 2020 for the post of RDBS, Rajbhasha, Legal, and P & SS posts. The NABARD Grade A online application for the said post started from the 15th of January 2020 and will be available to 03-02-2020.

All the interested candidates who are eligible and wanted to apply for the said post may apply through online mode from the official website of the bank or from the link available on this page the online application procedure will start from 15th of January 2020 to 03-02-2020

NABARD Grade A Application Eligibility criteria

Age: – for RDBS, Rajbhasha and Legal: All candidates age must be in between 21 to 30 years (as on 01-01-2020)

Note: There will be a relaxation in Upper age limit for the reserved category candidates

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from any University in English/ Hindi medium (both as a compulsory subject) having a 50% minimum (45% for SC/ST/PWBD) and candidates must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice versa.
  • OR having a PG degree in Hindi with 50% marks (pass class for reserved) and English as compulsory subjects at graduation level OR PG in English with 50% (pass class for reserved) and Hindi as the main subject at graduation level and must be able to translate English to Hindi or vice versa.

 Education qualification For Legal

Bachelor degree in law with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST)

Candidates who are applying for P& SS post then he/she should be an officer with a minimum of five years of commissioned service in the Army/Navy/Air force and must have a valid Ex-serviceman Identity card

The job requirement for the P& SS post is he/ she will be responsible for:

  • Watch and ward arrangement as to internal security, passages, entry and exit points, surveillance through CCTV, monitoring, recording, etc. in the banks’ office buildings
  • Protocol duties
  • Maintenance and security of banks properties
  • Must have control over the staff deployed for their duties

NABARD Grade ‘A’ officer 2020 selection procedure

The selection procedure for RDBS, Rajbhasha, and legal service will be going through under three phases which are given below:

Phase I Preliminary Examination (it will have objective type questions)

Test of reasoning

  • All candidates must note that the preliminary examination is just of qualifying in nature (screening test).
  • Those candidates who secure the cut off marks which was decided by the NABARD will be called for mains examination


  • The ratio of the selection of candidates for mains examination is 1:25 of the vacancy
  • There will be a penalty of wrong attempts in the examination which is one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question (0.25 marks)

Phase II- Mains examination (it will have two papers)

Paper 1:

This General English paper will be common for RDBS, Rajbhasha and legal and it will have descriptive questions

Duration is one and a half hours (90 minutes)

Total marks: 100

Paper 2:

The cut-off for both phases (I and II) of the examination will be applied in two stages i.e.

  • On scores in individual tests and;
  • On total scores.

Phase III: Interview (25 marks)

  • Those candidates who secure the minimum cut-off marks or above in the mains examination will be called for the Interview
  • The ratio of selection for the Interview process is 1:5 to the vacancy
  • The final selection of the candidates for Grade ‘A’ in RDBS/ Rajbhasha/ Legal will be based on the performance in phase II examination and in the interview

Tie Breaker Situation                                             

In case of a tie (candidate’s secure same marks) then the ranking will be based on:

  • The candidates with higher marks in Phase II will be ranked higher
  • In case of same marks in Phase II then the candidates having the highest qualification will be preferred
  • And in case of similar qualification then the higher marks in graduation will be ranked higher
  • In further tie then the candidates senior to others will be preferred

Selection procedure for P& SS

  • The candidates will be shortlisted and then they will be called for Interview
  • The bank has the right to raise the minimum experience to restrict the number of candidates called for interview

Interview: 100 marks

Appointment of the candidates for P & SS post would be subject on being declared medically fit as per the rules and regulation of the bank

Points to be noted before registration

  • All candidates who satisfy the eligibility for the post of Grade ‘A’ officer may apply through online mode only from the official website of the NABARD or from the link given on this page
  • But before applying online all candidates must have their scanned copy of:
  • Photograph (size must be in between 20KB to 50KB)
  • Signature (with black ink only) (size must in between 10KB to 20KB)
  • Left-hand thumb impression on the white paper with blue or black ink
  • And a hand-written note declaration on a white paper with black ink (size must not exceed 100KB)
  • The hand-written text is as follows:
  • “I ………… (Name of the candidates), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

  • All candidates must apply before the given dates do not wait for the last day
  • Before applying for the post all candidates must ensure that they are eligible for the post they are applying for

  • Because you will receive intimation of call letter and other information on the given number and IDs

  • The hand-written note must be written by the candidates itself
  • Documents uploading must be in the prescribed format and size if it is not then an error message will be displayed on the screen
  • The intimation of the admit card will be notified through email or text
  • All candidates must take the print out of the application once submitted finally

NABARD Grade ‘A’ officer 2020 Job

NABARD is an apex organization that is wholly owned by the Government of India. It came into existence on the 12th of July 1982 initially it was set up with a capital of Rs. 100 cr. NABARD has established all over in the country and for the same invites application on a regular basis. And now they invite application from the Indian citizens for the post of Grade ‘A’ officer for various posts.
