National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHM) is a national level exam, conducted by NTA for admission to the B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration across the Country. 

How to Download NTA NCHM JEE hall ticket

Hall ticket for NTA NCHM JEE will be available on the official website of NTA from 1st April 2020 onwards. Applicants can download the admit card online. Candidates must carry their admit card to their exam center as no entry is allowed in the exam center without admit card.

Here is the step-wise process to download the admit card for NCHM JEE exam.

So that’s how you can download your admit card for NCHM JEE exam. Take its print out on A4 size papers. It is suggested to the candidates to take minimum two print outs of NTA NCHM JEE Admit Card.

One copy of the admit card has to be self-attested and deposited to the invigilator for his/her signature. This copy will be preserved and required during the counselling procedure and the other copy of admit card have to be carried along on the date of the examination.

Other Documents Required on Exam Day

Your admit card is one of the important document and without it, you cannot appear in the NCHM JEE. But along with your hall ticket, you will need the following documents.

• Valid photo ID proof (any one of following PAN card / Driving License / Voter ID / Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Ration or Card / Student ID)
• One passport size photograph
• PwD Certificate authorized by a doctor if the applicant applied for relaxation under PwD category.

NCHMCT Admit card Important Instruction

Here are other important instructions that candidates need to keep in mind for the NTA NCHM JEE exam.

Basic Instruction for exam

• Candidates need to make a note that admits card will not be sent through the post and they will have to download it from the website only.
• Its must cross verify all the details mentioned on hall ticket. In case of any mismatch contact the exam conducting authorities immediately as it can be a reason of denying in the exam.
• Candidates should carry the same passport size photograph which they have pasted on application form.
• Candidates are suggested to reach the exam center two hours before the exam to complete the pre-exam formalities. You will have to punctual as the registration desk will be closed at least 60 minutes before the exam begins.

  Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material, electronic watch with calculator, slide rules, calculators, log tables, mobile phone, or any other electronic device, printed or written material and bits of papers. Having any suspicious object can lead to the disqualification for the exam.

Reporting Time  

• Candidates should reach the exam center at 7:30 am.
• Exam time is 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
• Registration at the exam center will be closed before 60 minutes of the exam.
• No entry will be allowed in the exam center after 9:00 am.

NCHM JEE 2020 Result

The result of NCHM JEE will be available online on the official website of NCHM. Students can expect the result of this exam in the second week of May 2020. Students can download the result by entering their roll number and date of birth on the official website of NCHM. 

NTA will prepare the merit list for NCHM JEE on the basis of marks secured by the candidates. If two students score the same marks then merit will be decided on below mentioned points;

• Candidate with higher marks in English will get a higher position.
• If still a tie then marks in Service Aptitude component will decide the higher or lower rank for a candidate.
• IF still there is a tie then as a last option, the elder candidate will get the higher position

After the declaration of result, the counselling process for admission will start.

NCHM JEE Answer Key 2020

NTA will release the answer sheets of NCHM 2020 exam soon after the exam is over. The expected date for the release of the answer sheet of the exam is 3^rd May 2020. As you know that its first time that NTA will conduct National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) online, so NTA will also upload the answer sheet online. 

In case, if any applicant has some issue with the answer sheet then he/she can challenge it. The candidate will have to provide proof and pay the processing fee of Rs 1000 per question that he/she is challenging. Students can challenge the answer sheet online only. No document need to send anywhere through the post.

NCHM JEE Cut-off 2020

NTA will also declare the cut off for NCHM JEE which means a candidate who has scored in this exam below cut off, will not be eligible to get admission in the participating institutes. Approx 8000 seats are available NCHM this year and the number of candidates participating in joint entrance exam is higher so only a few of them will get the seat in college not all.
