The selection of the eligible candidates for the post of Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Assistants will be done by a written exam followed by personal interview. For Ayurvedic assistants, there will be a different exam and for Homoeopathic Assistants a different question paper will be given to candidates solve.

Exam Pattern for OSSC Ayush Assistants Post

Here is the exam pattern for the written exam for OSSC Aayush Ayurvedic Assistant & Homeopathic Assistant post. The question papers will be different for both posts but the exam pattern will remain the same.

  • The written exam for the post of assistants will be having multiple choice questions.
  • The question paper will be of a total of 100 Marks.


  • Question papers for Ayurvedic Assistant & Homeopathic Assistant posts will be having four sections; A, B, C, D for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Science.
  • In this exam, 10+2 level questions will be asked.
  • Physics, chemistry, and Biology each will be having 30 questions for 30 marks and general science section will have 10 marks for 10 questions. 
  • For every right answer, the candidate will score 1 mark and wit every wrong answer he/she will have to loose .40 mark.
