Step 2: on the home page of the website a link of ‘Examination portal for Students’ is given, click on it.

Step 3: you will be redirected to an exam-related portal of PTU where the university uploads result of all courses and date sheet of all examinations conducted by the university. You can directly reach to that page by clicking on http://www.m.ptuexam.com/loginme.aspx

Step 4: Now you will have to log in with your username and password and press enter.

Step 5: Once you will press enter, you will get a list containing links of all the results that have been released by the university so far.

Step 6: Click on the link of the result of your subject and download the result.

How to Check PTU DEP (Distance Education Program) Result 2019

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University also offers various UG and PG courses through the distance education program. If you have taken the exam of any one of the distance education course then you will have to follow the below-given instructions;

Step1: The result of DTP will also be published on the official website of university so visit the University’s website.

Step 2: Now click on the ‘Open and Distance Learning’ link given under the ‘Departments’ tab.

Step 3: Here you will have to click on ‘Distance Education Exam Portal’.

Step 4: A new page will appear on your screen, here you will enter your roll number to find the detailed information of DEP degree status or DEP result and DEP marks card & Results.

PTU Revaluation or Rechecking 

Those students who are not satisfied with their result in the examination conducted by the   I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University can apply for rechecking or revaluation. According to the new rules introduced by the university, if a student wants to apply for the revaluation or rechecking the answer sheet then the students will have to apply within 21 days of result declaration. Only an Assistant or Associate Professor with a minimum four years of experience will be appointed for this task. Students who will choose this option will have to pay a minimal fee to the university. The fee for revaluation is Rs 5,000 per subject.

Not all the students will be eligible to apply for revaluation. The application of the student for revaluation of the exams’ answer sheet will be sent to the HOD and HOD will decide if the application of the candidate should be accepted or not.  The university also gives a facility to the students. If any student is not happy even with the revaluation result then he/she can contact to  Challenge Revaluation Board (CRB). CRB will do the revaluation again and the candidate will get the CRB revaluation or higher marks in that particular examination.
