PUCAT 2020
Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT) is basically an admission test conducted by Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, UP every year for the admission of eligible students into the university in various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs.
PUCAT is an entrance exam conducted generally in the month of June in order to screen suitable students for admission. The application process for the same is likely to start in the month of March. Every year a large number of students from UP and other regions participate in this exam and make it to the university.

PUCAT Eligibility
Eligibility criteria should be strictly followed before applying for admission. The eligibility conditions are provided on the brochure and therefore all the applicants should read it thoroughly before applying. They must make sure that they are eligible enough to apply.

PUCAT 2020 Application forms can be filled only in online mode. Applicants can follow the simple instructions shared below to fill the online application-
- Step I- Log on to the official portal of the university. The website link is www.vbspu.ac.in.
- Step II- Now click on the “Admission” tab provided at the menu bar on the homepage.
- Step III- Click on the “PUCAT 2020” link.
- Step IV- Click on the Brochure option and read all the given instructions carefully.
- Step V- Now hit the Application link.
- Step VI- Enter all the required information in the space provided.
- Step VII- Upload the necessary documents (If applicable).
- Step VIII- Make a payment of the application fee.
- Step IX- Submit the application form.
- Step X- Take the printout of the filled-in application form.
After the completion of the online application process, all the applicants have to send the printed copy of the filled-in application forms along with the self-attested copies of all the required certificates and testimonials to the given address-

Application Fee
- For Unreserved and OBC category candidates have to submit an application of Rs.500/-.
- For SC/ST candidates, the application fee will be Rs.250/-.
- The application fees can be submitted in online mode.
PUCAT Admit Card
Admit card for PUCAT 2020 will be uploaded on the University website at least a week prior to the date of the exam. It is the sole responsibility of candidates to download the hall ticket on time and carry a printed copy of it to the exam center on the exam day.

- Separate question papers will be prepared for each course and hence syllabus will vary.

PUCAT 2020 Result and Counseling
PUCAT 2020 result is expected to announce in June 2020. It will also be uploaded on the university website for intimation to all the candidates. The result will be based on the marks of the candidates in the admission test.
A merit list will also be prepared and provided online along with the result. Depending on the merit list, candidates will be invited to the counseling. The counseling schedule and all the related details will be communicated later to all the qualified candidates.
Documents Required for Admission
After the declaration of result, candidates will be called for counseling and admission on the basis of merit in the entrance test. However, candidates also have to enclose all the requisite documents to the filled-in application form. At the time of admission, candidates are required to produce all the documents at the admission venue in the original as well as Xerox copy of each. The list of the important documents is shared as under-
- A printed copy of the online filled application form
- Class 10th/ High School Mark sheet and Certificate
- Class 12th /Intermediate Mark sheet and Certificate
- The graduation Mark sheet and Certificate (For admission in PG programs)
- Category (Caste) / Subcategory Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Four Passport size photographs
- Applications can be submitted only in online mode as no other mode will be made available.
- Applicants must make sure that their application forms reach the university well before the due date at the university will not be responsible for postal delay.
- Before filling the application form, applicants must keep all the essential documents and testimonials ready with them.
- They should also read the PUCAT 2020 admission brochure before applying.
- Applicants can also submit filled-in application forms personally at the respective address.
