Punjab JET Admission 2019- Overview

There will be 3 counselling rounds for the seat Allotment for Punjab JET Examination. The candidates who are not satisfied with the Fist Allotment List of Punjab JET Results 2019, they can apply for the Second and Third Allotment list and wait for its results.

In order to register for the Counselling process, candidates need to follow the given steps below:

  • Candidates need to register themselves online during the allotted time for registration.


  • After successful Registration, candidates will need to fill their choices of colleges and programs they will like to pursue.
  • The counselling Results will be declared in 3 rounds after the successful completion of Choice Filling
  • After being selected, the candidate will need to report at the given institution along with their important documents and submit their Admission Fees.

For the First Punjab JET Counselling and Seat Allotment

  • Choice Filling for the First Counselling Round took place from June 12, 2019 to June 18, 2019.
  • The results were declared by the authorities online at the official website of JET Punjab by June 21, 2019.
  • The candidates were asked to report at the official venue for the completion of Admission Process and Submission of Fees from June 21 2019 to June 26, 2019.

For the Second JET Punjab Counselling and Seat Allotment

  • Choice Filling for the Second Counselling Round will begin from June 28, 2019 to July 3, 2019.
  • The results JET Punjab by July 5, 2019.
  • The completion of Admission Process and Submission of Fees from July 6, 2019 to July 11, 2019.

(Note: the candidates should remember that there will not be any entrance exam for the Diploma Courses. The admissions for these courses will be based solely upon the marks scored by the candidates in their 10th and 12th.)

Like many of the universities, Punjab JET Admissions 2019 also have a Reservation Policy which is based upon the guidelines given by Government of India. 85 Percent seats will be reserved for the aspirants belonging to The State of Punjab and 15 percent seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to other states.

The candidates who have done their 10th examination from the board situated in schools in UT(Chandigarh), they will be eligible to get the admission under the 15 percent quota in the Punjab Institution. Candidates who will be selected for the final counselling will have to physically be there for the final institution.
