RSMSSB JEN Recruitment 2020: Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has published the notification (01/2020) for 1219 posts of Junior Engineer (JE). RSMSSB Recruitment JE Eligibility criteria 2020

Age limit:

Minimum: 18 yearsMaximum: 40 years



All candidates make sure that they have attained the age of 18 years as on 1/1/2020 and should not have completed 40 years.

Note: According to the notification released by the state government of Rajasthan, there will be a relaxation of three years in the upper age limit, because the recruitment of the said post has not been conducted from the last three years, so all categories candidates will get a relaxation of three years.

Education qualification

  • Junior Engineer (Civil) Degree holder: candidates must have completed his/her graduation in civil engineer from the recognized university or equivalent to it.
  • Junior Engineer (civil) (diploma holder): must have completed his/her diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized University or from the institute of engineers
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical) Degree holder: must have completed his/her graduation in Electrical Engineering from the recognized university or equivalent to it.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical) Diploma holder: must have completed his/her diploma in Electrical from any recognized University or from the institute of engineers
  • Junior Engineer (Mechanical) Degree holder: candidates must have completed his/her degree in Mechanical Engineering from the recognized university of India or equivalent to it in Mechanical engineer.
  • Junior engineer (mechanical) diploma holder: must have completed his/her diploma in mechanical from any recognized University or from the institute of engineers

  • First, all candidates need to visit the official website of the commission
  • Now on the home page click on the “Recruitment advertisement”
  • Now you will be directed to a new page.
  • On this page you have to click on the “Apply online” link which is available in front of the Junior Engineer post


  • On click, a page will open and on this, you have to click on the apply online.
  • Now you have to log in with the SSO ID and password, but in case if you have not a registered user then you have to register first.
  • After login, you have to fill the entire form accordingly and must preview the form once you fill it completely.
  • Once you submit the form no changes will be allowed in the form thereafter.

The application fee for the online application is:

  • For general candidates/EWS/OBC (creamy layer): Rs. 450/-
  • For Rajasthan BC/OBC(non-creamy layer)/: Rs. 350/-
  • SC/ST: Rs. 250/-
  • And those whose family income is less than 2.5 lakhs: Rs. 250/-

Pay-scale: the pay scale for the post of Junior engineer falls under the pay matrix of level 10 and the initial pay scale for the post will be of 33,800/-

While filling the online application all candidates have to upload their scanned latest photograph and scanned signature in a prescribed format.

  • The size of the photograph must be in between 50KB to 100KB
  • The size of the scanned signature must be in between 20KB to 50KB
  • The scanned file must be in JPEG/JPG format.
  • You must keep the same photograph for future use.
  • Your signature must match at the time of examination if not then the candidature of the candidates will be canceled

  • If after submitting and paying fee, your application form still showing transaction failed then, in that case, you must contact to the E-Mitra helpline numbers which are 0141-2221425/2221424
  • The receipt of the application fee will be sent to the candidates via email on their given Email ID
  • The selection board will not accept any application if it is filled with hand i.e. offline application.
  • Before submitting the form all candidates make sure that, the information submitted by him/her is correct and true to their knowledge because once you submit the form after that board will not entertain any kind of changes.
  • Must remember that while submitting the application form you will receive the application number if you didn’t receive it then your application form is not submitted properly.
  • Must mention the valid Email ID and active mobile number in the application form because all the information regarding the examination in the future will be furnished via both means.
  • The list of the E-Mitra Kiosk and C.S.C center is available on the website (below we have given the link of it).
  • The fee once submitted will not be refunded on any grounds nor it will be transferred to any other examination.
  • The fee submitted by the candidate for the category will be treated as final and no changes in the category will be done thereafter.
  • The admit card for the said post will be available on the website and it will not be sent via post.


  • For generating the admit card candidate must remember their application form number and the token number of fees submitted in the C.S.C Centre.

Document required after RSMSSB JEN examination

No candidates will send any of his documents to the board before the examination, once the result has been announced by the board after that they will be called you for DV process then you have to submit few of the documents which we have listed below:

  • Caste certificate and domicile certificate
  • Disabled certificate if applicable
  • Qualifying examination certificate
  • Experience certificate (if any)
  • Marriage certificate (you must submit the marriage certificate which was issued by the competent authority of the state and if you are divorcee then you also have to submit the certificate of it.
  • Character certificate (from last qualifying examination center)
  • Age certificate (the date mention in the certificate of high school will be treated final)
  • NOC
  • NCC Certificate (If any)
  • Photograph

RSMSSB JEN 2020 Points related to Examination

  • All candidates while appearing for the examination must bring their admit card otherwise you will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
  • Along with the admit card candidates must bring their one original photo identity proof.
  • In case if you have lost your admit card then you can get the duplicate copy of it from the examination control room by presenting two passport size photographs.
  • Must reach the examination hall at least half an hour before and must take your seats which are issued to you.
  • Do check around the seat allotted to you that, is there any kind of paper or anything written in the desk, if so then report it to the invigilator immediately.


  • Candidates will be given an extra 5 minutes to fill up the required field in OMR sheets.
  • You are not allowed to bring any kind of study material, electronic gadgets inside the examination hall.
  • You are not allowed to leave the examination hall until the examination time is over.
