SMVDU 2020 Admission Eligibility Criteria For Ph. D

SMVDU also offers admission to Ph. D courses. to get admission in the regular Ph. D courses the candidate must have a Master’s Degree in any one of the following subjects;

Technology
Sciences
Management
Humanities & Social Sciences

Along with the above mentioned subjects the university can accept the application from the candidates who have done masters in other subjects like Maths and others. To apply for the Ph. D the applicant must have scored CGPA of 6.75 on a ten point scale or 60% marks in aggregate of any government recognized University. Candidates appearing in Degree equivalent to M.Phil shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program.

University shall take the candidates for Ph. D who are the governments’ employees or employees of PSU or research establishment or private industries. The applicant must have minimum experience of two years to apply for Ph. D.

Through JOSAA/CSAB: Students will get the admission on All India Rank scored by JEE (Main)-2020. The admission procedure also includes the counseling and allotment of seats which will be done by the Central Seat Allocation Board.
Through SMVDUEE-2020: Based on the merit list prepared by the university based on online counseling.
Direct Counselling based on JEE (Main) 2020 Rank (CRL): Based on the admission seekers’ performance in JEE (Mains).

Admission in B.Arch. program at SMVDU:

Through JOSAA/CSAB: Based on the students’ All India Rank (CRL) in JEE (Main) – 2020 Paper 2.

Admission In Other Courses:

For admission in the masters’ degree courses, the applicants will have to appear in the entrance test conducted by the university. To appear in the entrance test the applicants will have to apply online. Only those applications will be accepted for which the application fee has been submitted. It is also important for the admission seekers to fulfill all the requirements from the university before taking the entrance exam. To apply for the masters’ degree course it is must for the applicant to score minimum 60% marks in the graduation. The other criteria to be eligible to apply for the masters are to complete the graduation from a government recognized university and with relevant subjects.
