Sand Sale Management & Monitoring System (SSMMS) is an online portal launched by the government of Telangana State for the monitoring and management of sand sale in the state. It was an initiative of Telangana state Minerals Development Corporation and Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana State to make sand sale management effective in the state.
Introduction of SSMMS portal has brought transparency in the sand sale business by providing sand to customers, stakeholders at affordable process. It has also helped in removal of third parties involved in sale process, prevention of exploitation of rivers and environment and increased income of government. It also saves time effort of the people. SSMMS also ensure that customers get good quality of sand.
The online portal provides number of services to the users. Some of the major services provided by SSMMS portal involves-

How to register in TS SSMMS – Customer Registration
In order to become customer on SSMMS portal, you have to register yourself with the SSMMS portal. Before making any order, customer needs to be registered with the portal. - Go to official website
Visit the official SSMMS portal i.e. https://sand.telangana.gov.in first and then click on “Registrations” link given at the Menu bar.
- Select registration option
On clicking TS Sand booking SSMMS “Registration” a dropdown list will appear. You have to select the “Customer Registration” option from the dropdown list.
- Enter Mobile No.
Customer registration step 1 will appear. You have to enter your mobile no. in the space provided and click on “Send OTP” option. An OTP will be sent your mobile no. A dialog box will appear for OTP confirmation as shown below. You have to enter the OTP sent to your mobile no.
- Verify OTP
Once you have submitted the OTP a verification message will pop up on the screen.
- Fill Application form
Step I- Go to sand.telangana.gov.in. Step II- Hit the “REGISTRATION” link on the homepage. Step III- Click on “CUSTOMER REGISTERED LINK”Step IV- A list of all the registered and verified customers will appear. Step V- Search for your name by entering your registered mobile no. Step VI- Check your verification and registration status.
This customer registered list basically indicate names of the customers, their mobile no., verification status, and registration status.

How to book sand online in Telangana?
SSMMS portal has made the sand booking procedure convenient and more transparent. Once you have completed the TS Sand booking registration procedure and have successfully registered your name, you can proceed further for sand booking. To book an order for sand on SSMMS portal, you can follow the simple steps shared below in easy to understand language-
- Step I- Go to official Website
You have to start by visiting the official SSMMS portal as mentioned above.
- Step II- Customer Login
You have hit the sand booking option given on homepage of the portal.
- Step III- Enter Credentials
Candidates have to enter valid login details such as user name, password, and hit the login button.
- Step IV- Select district
Now you have to select your district from the dropdown box.
- Step V- Select Stockyard
After selecting “District” you have to select “Stockyard” button.
- Step VI- Enter all the details
Now, you have to enter all the required information in fields provided. After filling all the details, click on “Register” button.
- Step VII- Confirmation window appears
A confirmation window will appear and you have to click “OK
- Step VIII- Take the receipt
Lastly, you have to click on “Get Receipt” button for downloading and printing the receipt. Keep the receipt safe for future correspondences.
How to track Sand Booking order?
After booking order and till the delivery of order, customer can also track the status of their undelivered-order on SSMMS portal. The complete process for tracking orders is shared as under-
- Go to https://sand.telangana.gov.in.
- Click on “Bookings” tab on the homepage of the portal.
- Select “Track Your Order” option from the dropdown list.
- Enter the Order Id and click on “Get Status” option.
- Finally, status of all the undelivered orders will appear.
- Enter the valid mobile no. to track the status of your order.
If you want to track the status with Mobile/Vehicle, you have to choose “track your orders mobile/vehicles” option. After that you can check the order status by entering your registered mobile no. and valid vehicle no. and hit the “search button”.
This list will include information about order Id of the candidates, Order date, Vehicle no., Customer Name, Mobile No., Order Status (active/canceled/ suspended), and Delivery Status.
TS Sand Vehicle Registration
SSMMS also provide service of vehicle registration. If you have a vehicle (Tractor/ Lorry) and you want it to be registered with SSMMS portal for transportation of sand, you can also do so. The complete procedure for vehicle registration is as follows-
- Visit sand.telangana.gov.in.
- Hit “Registrations” tab given on the homepage.
- Click on “Vehicle Registration” option.
- Vehicle registration form will display.
- Enter the all the information asked viz. vehicle no., RC details, address, engine no., mobile no., etc. Click on “register” button.
- Finally, your application for vehicle registration will be submitted.

In case, you have uploaded an invalid or blur copy of RC you have to upload it again. For that you have to click on “Vehicle Registration Updation” option and have to search the vehicle no. Upload clear and valid copy of RC again. If it will be not clear, then the vehicle will be blocked permanently.
