Tamil Nadu NEET Cut Off Marks 2020 GEN OBC SC ST Category Wise
Tamil Nadu NEET Expected Cut Off 2020: NTA has announced NEET (UG) 2020 result on 4th June 2020. Now, the candidates who have qualified the exam are now waiting for the release of state wise cut-off marks and merit list. As it is known that NEET seats are divided into all India Quota seats and State-quota seats, the further admission procedures will be conducted by separate authorities for both the types of seats.
The merit and cut-off list for 15% all India Quota seats will be released by the concerned government medical colleges, central universities and other colleges as per the directions of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on the behalf of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), India. On the other hand, for 85% state quota seats it will be released by the respective state authorities.
Tamil Nadu NEET Cut-off marks and counseling will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Tamil Nadu. Each medical and dental college in the state will release their own cut-off marks in order to offer admission to the candidates under the state-quota seats. NEET Tamil Nadu category-wise cut-off marks are expected to release in the last week of June 2020.

Cut-off marks play a very crucial role in NEET admission process. NEET cut-off marks can be defined as the minimum marks fixed by the conducting authority to qualify the exam or to get admission to the preferred college.

Talking about Tamil Nadu NEET cut-off marks, each medical and dental college in the state will release its own cut-off marks for different categories. The main factors which are taken into consideration while preparing cut-off marks includes- No. of candidates appeared for test, No. of seats available in college, reservation criteria, difficulty level of exam, total marks, marking scheme, marks secured by the candidates, etc.

The cut-off for state-quota seats are also fixed on the basis of reservation applicable to the various categories of the candidates as per the policies of the state government.
