Vikram University Entrance Exam Result 2020
VU conducts entrance examinations for the screening of suitable candidates for various courses offered by the university. Admissions into Undergraduate and Post graduate programs in VU are mainly granted on the basis of merit of the candidates in the qualifying exam. However, there are number of courses in both UG and PG such as B.Pharma., M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Environmental Management etc for which university conducts entrance exams on annual basis.
For admission to such programs, candidates have to qualify the exam and satisfy all the eligibility conditions. The result/ merit list is uploaded on the official website and candidates have to access the result PDF from there only. No hard copy of result is dispatched to any candidate by post. Neither result is communicated through email.
Apart from aforesaid programs, there are programs like MBA, MCA and BE (Civil, Electricals, Electronics, Mechanical) in which admissions are made through DTE, Bhopal. The result for these programs is expected to be uploaded on DTE website.

The result of each program will be prepared on the basis of marks of candidates in the entrance exam. Candidates qualifying the entrance exam and satisfying the cut-off criteria will only be considered for merit. The cut-off criterion is decided by the university. To get admission into the university in entrance-based programs, candidates are necessarily required to pass the entrance test. The merit list is prepared and hosted online for each program.

Post Result Publication Process
After the publication of result, qualified candidates will be called for further admission rounds. In case of UG and PG programs, candidates are called for counselling. Whereas in case of PhD and M.Phil admissions, qualified candidates are invited for interview. The details of admission, seat allotment and interviews are intimated to candidates through emails and official website. Candidates have to stay in touch with the concerned university department and official portal.
However, qualifying entrance exam do not confer candidates any right for admission. Final admission is only based on the satisfaction of eligibility conditions and admission guidelines as prescribed by the university.
