West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will publish JELET 2020 merit lists based on candidates’ total score in the entrance test. WBJEEB will publish five separate merit lists for different courses.

  • Merit rank for Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology except for Printing Technology and Agricultural Engineering.
  • Merit Rank for Diploma holders in Printing Technology.
  • Merit Rank for Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering.
  • Merit Rank for Diploma holders in Pharmacy.
  • Merit Rank for B.Sc. Candidates.

Tie-breaking Methodology in Merit Rank

For Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology except for Printing Technology and Agricultural Engineering:

  • Less negative marks in total
  • More positive marks in Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials taken together.
  • Less negative marks in Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials taken together.
  • More positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together.
  • Less negative marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together.

For Diploma holders in Printing Technology:

  • Less negative marks in total
  • More positive marks in Basic Printing Engineering and Printers’ Materials Science taken together.
  • Less negative marks in Basic Printing Engineering and Printers’ Materials Science taken together.
  • More positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together
  • Less negative marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together

For Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering:

  • Less negative marks in total
  • More positive marks in Soil & Water, Farm Machinery and Power and Food Processes and Food Harvest Engineering taken together.
  • Less negative marks in Soil & Water, Farm Machinery and Power and Food Processes and Food Harvest Engineering taken together.
  • More positive marks in Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together

For B. Sc. candidates:

For Diploma holders in Pharmacy:

If tie exists still thereafter, same will be broken by the date of birth (DOB) of the concerned candidates; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
