WBPSC SI (Food & Supplies) Result- Important Dates   

West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) is a state agency responsible for conducting various civil services examination and other examination for civil services and a number of other posts in the state.

The selection test that was conducted for the post of Sub-Inspector (Food Supplies) was conducted in offline mode (OMR based). There were multiple-choice questions in the exam.

How to check the WBPSC Sub Inspector Result 2018-19?  

Since the month of January, candidates are waiting for the release of written exam. They are eager to know to their result so that they prepare for the next round. We are happy to inform them that the result will be out in a couple of days. Now, they do not have to wait longer.

The result will be uploaded online by the Commission on the notified dates. Candidates are going to find various details about their performances in the result such as marks, grades, result status, etc. All the details that are supposed to be indicated on the result sheet are as follows-

Name of the candidates shortlisted for the next round, Application number, Roll Number, Year, Date of Birth, Caste/category, Gender, Marks obtained by the candidates, Total/Maximum marks, result status, remark (if any), important instructions/ guidelines related to candidates about the next selection procedure.

WBPSC SI Expected Cut-off marks

All the candidates who have appeared for the exam are required to obtain minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for participating for the next selection round. The minimum marks that a candidate is required to qualify the exam is known as cut-off marks. The merit of the candidates for this exam will be based on the cut-off marks fixed by the Commission.

Minimum qualifying marks are basically decided category-wise as per the reservation applicable. Below, we have shared the expected cut-off marks of all the categories-

What after the declaration of WBPSC Sub Inspector Result?

After the publication of result, the candidates whose names will be there in the merit list will be shortlisted for the personality test. Only on the basis of marks obtained in the written test, candidates will be invited for personality test.

The schedule and all the important details related to the next selection round will be intimated to the candidates through the official website and other mediums of communication (as applicable). Qualified candidates not appearing for the personality test will be disqualified from the selection procedure.

On the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written test and the personality test, final merit list will be prepared. The final appointment will be allotted to only after the completion of medical examination, verification of testimonials and other formalities.
