West Bengal WB ITI 1st Phase Seat Allotment 2019: It has been published on the official website of the authority concerned. Selected candidates who have been allotted West Bengal ITI seats has been issued an allotment letter which they have to carry to the allotted college for admission. West Bengal ITI 1st round seat allotment result for both the groups (i.e. E and M) has published on 9th July 2019.

West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVESD) is the state authority that caters to technical, vocational and skill education in the state. Therefore, every year applications are invited for admission to polytechnic and ITI programs.

Talking about ITI admissions in various government and private ITIs for the academic session 2018-2019, applications were invited by the council in the month of March/April 2019. Now, the council has released seat allotment result for both group E and group M. Seat allotment will be completed in three phases.  

How to check West Bengal ITI 1st Phase seat allotment result?

To check the result online, you can take help from the step-by-step guide shared below-

  • You have to start by visiting the website of the council (https://webscte.co.in).
  • Select the respective group option given on the homepage.
  • Now, enter the login details.
  • Seat allotment details will appear  
  • Keep the allotment result safe for references.

Printing of West Bengal ITI allotment letter

After the publication of seat allotment result, if you are allotted a seat then you will be having two choices in front of you. You can either opt for admission at the allotted college ( if you are allotted your first prioritized) or for up-gradation (in case you are not satisfied with the allotted seat).

If satisfied with the allotment, then you have to print the allotment letter and have to complete the admission process. Those who will be opting for auto-upgradation should not download the allotment letter.

Reporting at the Allotted College

Once the allotment letter will be printed, candidates have to report in person to the allotted college on the date and time prescribed to them. They have to produce all the documents and certificates for verification at the allotted ITI.  At the time of admission, you also have to deposit the admission fee as specified by the government and private ITIs.

Candidates reporting at the allotted institute must read all the instructions mentioned on the allotment letter. In case you are allotted an ITI in 1st seat allotment, you can wait for 2nd seat allotment result.



The list of documents (original and self-attested copy of each) to be produced by the candidates of both the groups is shared as under-

Group M

  • Admit card of Madhyamik or equivalent exam as a proof of age.
  • Madhyamik or equivalent examination mark sheet
  • Madhyamik or equivalent exam certificate
  • Category certificate (SC/ST/PH certificate), if required
  • Vocational pass certificate (if any)
  • Kanyashree enrolee certificate
  • Copy of Aadhaar card
  • Two colored passport size photographs

Group E

  • Admit card of CET 2019
  • Final mark sheet of class 8th
  • Aadhaar card
  • Caste/Category certificate (SC/ST/PH certificate), if required
  • Kanyashree enrolee certificate
  • Vocational pass certificate (if any)

Along with the aforementioned documents, candidates of both the groups also have to produce a medical fitness certificate should be issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner.
